All-over print firefighter shirt: a fire helmet with a front shield in front of two crossed axes, ringed by flames and sparks. On the back a large flame rises diagonally, and the sleeves carry glowing embers.
Product description
Firefighter shirt with flames, printed from the chest across the back and out to the sleeves. In the middle of the front sits a classic fire helmet with a front shield, two axes cross behind it, and flames rise all around. There is no slogan, no town name and no number. The picture speaks for itself, and anyone who has stood in front of a fire in full breathing gear will recognize their own job in it right away.
The helmet is shown at a slight angle, with the front shield on the left side from your point of view. The shield is a riveted metal plate, plain and without lettering, and the fire is reflected in it in orange and red. The shell above it has strong ribs, and the brim runs all the way around and stretches out long at the back, the shape that goes back to the old leather helmets. On the right, a dark buckled band wraps around the shell. Behind the helmet, two axes point up at an angle: red heads whose pale cutting edge shows signs of use, and a sharp spike on the opposite side of each head. The wooden handles cross behind the brim and end at the lower left and lower right in grips wrapped in dark tape.
The flames wrap around helmet and axes like a wreath. Inside they glow pale yellow, toward the outside they turn orange and deep red, and at the edges they break up into halftone dots like those in old comic prints. Sparks fly in every direction. Everything is drawn in bold black outlines and fine hatching, almost like an engraving, which keeps metal, wood and fire clearly apart even from a few meters away.
Because this is an all-over print shirt, no area is left blank. The background is a sooty black-brown with a rusty red, mottled grain, as if the heat had scorched a wall. On the back a single large flame blazes: it starts at the lower left and climbs diagonally up to just below the right shoulder, with a pale yellow core, orange-red tongues, black swirling lines and the same halftone dots as on the front. A few sparks break away from it and drift upward. The sleeves carry the same sooty background and a handful of long glowing sparks.
A design like this is worn by people for whom the fire service is more than a date in the calendar: volunteer firefighters, career crews, youth fire brigade leaders, engine operators and crew chiefs. It works at the station party, at a company get-together, on the way to a drill or simply on a day off. As a gift it suits a completed course, a promotion, a service anniversary, a birthday or Christmas. Helmet and axes are understood everywhere, so the picture needs no words at all and fits any station, wherever it is.
Printing starts only after you order, and all areas are printed at once: front, back and both sleeves. The shirt is made of polyester and a small share of elastane, smooth, midweight and stretchy in two directions. If you are looking for a firefighter shirt with flames that does not look like a small print on the chest but like one big picture across the whole surface, this is it: helmet and axes in the fire on the front, the flame on the back, and the glow on the sleeves.
