On the front, a cyber wolf snarls in profile, its head built from circuits and halftone dots in cyan and magenta, its neck breaking into high-rises and light streaks. The back shows the neon skyline alone.
Product description
This cyber wolf T-shirt shows a snarling wolf in profile, its head pieced together from angular plates, circuitry and halftone dots. The muzzle points to the left, the jaws are wide open, and long fangs show above and below. Cyan, magenta and white alternate across the forehead, cheek and bridge of the nose, while dark outlines hold the shapes together. Light stripes cross on the forehead to form a large X that sits like a marking above the eye. Behind the jaw sits a round sensor made of several rings, as if someone had fitted the animal with a machine part. Both ears stand upright, and thin circuit traces with small circles at their ends run through the fur on the back of the neck.
Things get interesting below the head. The neck doesn't end in fur but in a city: high-rises with rows of windows stand beneath the head, vertical bars of light drop like streams of data, and diagonal streaks in magenta and cyan cut across the scene. Some windows are cyan while others stay dark, so the facades look like a city at night. At the lower right lies a fine grid, while pixel blocks scatter to the left as if the image were still loading. A few drips of color run from the lower jaw. The predator becomes a cyberpunk wolf, half animal and half metropolis, its outline narrowing to a sharp tip in the bottom left corner.
Up close, the artwork reveals several layers. The halftone dots shift between fine and coarse, some areas are offset from one another like a screen glitch, and short rows of bright windows appear between the towers. The neon here is a color in the artwork, not an effect of the fabric: cyan and magenta sit boldly side by side and only get their crispness from the dark lines. There is no box or backdrop around the graphic, so the fabric simply shows through between the wolf and the buildings.
On the back of the cyber wolf T-shirt, the wolf is gone. All that remains is the neon skyline that grows out of its neck on the front, now standing free and larger: two slender towers with antenna tips rise above the rest, one at the top center and one on the left, much lower down, with shorter blocks full of windows crowded between them. At the upper right the circuit traces branch out again, jagged shards recall ruffled fur, and the same streaks of light cross the picture, while small pixel squares drift off at the edges. The two sides are obviously related, yet neither copies the other. People coming your way meet the wolf; people following you get its city.
The artwork borrows the visual language of science fiction and video games, yet it references no well-known character or logo. Glitchy edges, halftone dots and hard contrasts recall an eighties game cover brought into the present. That makes this neon wolf shirt a fit for gamers who squeeze in one more round at night, for fans of synthwave and techwear, and for everyone who likes their wolf surrounded by skyscrapers. If wolf designs are your thing, this one shows a different side of the animal: fierce, technical and at home among the towers. On a birthday or under the Christmas tree, it will please anyone who loves tech, neon colors and wolves in equal measure.
The cyber wolf design is printed on our Classic tee, a shirt with a structured look. Tape lines the inside of the collar and shoulders, and two parallel rows of stitching finish both sleeve openings and the bottom edge. Women and men can both wear it. Pair it with cargo pants, jeans or an open jacket with the wolf head peeking out. The variant picker shows which shirt colors are currently available, and every shirt is printed to order.
